HARGEISA– Somaliland’s ministry of agricultural development is working hard in order to increase food production and the country relies less on food imports. This was disclosed by the minister of agricultural development, Hon. Ahmed Mumin Seed during the opening of conference held at the ministry’s compound today.
The meeting saw the attendance of both local and int’l organizations that support farming communities in Somaliland. The minister has reiterated that organizations implementing farming projects should always stay in touch with the ministry for consultations and choosing the best way to move forward in regard to boosting food production.
Hon. Ahmed has apprised of the organizations locally and intern anally to report to the ministry what projects they are about to carry out in the country.
