Nation is a community living same place and sharing some common things including territory, language, cultures and other important things.
Nationalism is not a thing which should be inborn, it a feeling for the country which is developed over a period.
Patriotism is love of country. However, you cannot love your country without loving your countrymen and countrywomen. We do not always have to agree, but we must empower each other, we must find the common ground, we must build bridges across our differences to pursue the common good.
The aim of this article is to indicate that nation is a gift from Allah, which is mandatory to keep from it any harms.
The nation I talk about is Somaliland where I live and the only asset I have,which Icannotobtain from any other person, when I see that our people (Somaliland) they do not know more about patriotism and the loving of their country. Therefore, it is obligation of every men of this country to guide his people to right way in order to have a dream that one day this nation become one of the prosperous nations in this world.
I mention this article the point we should take to guide our people the right path and the necessary steps to develop the awareness of people to their country and that their nation is first.
- Make more awareness
We have to teach our people to safeguard the interest of our nation and make it the first thing everybody bear in mind.
- Promote education
How does public education help create such love, respect, and admiration for the nation and the state? First, schools (attempt to) inculcate a sense of civic duty. Second, and more importantly, states tell specific histories about themselves.
Which make them to love their country more and more.
- To unite People
During the campaign of elections, people in Somaliland have different views but we have one common thing which is Somaliland if you did not get what you want you have to keep the interest of your country instead you believe the wrong idea comes from originally tribalism.
- To develop social service
Government should develop social services such health, sanitation, water and free education system in order to cover the needs of the citizens, which increase the love of the country.
