DUBAI, (HargeisaPress) — Somaliland government delegation on working visit to the United Arab Emirates confers with Top Dubai Ports World officials on Sunday.
The two sides held high level talks on Berbera Port expansion project, the establishment of Berbera port Free Zone and humanitarian project that DPW to carry out in Somaliland
Senior DPW officials have promised during the meeting held in Dubia that the company will implement the expansion and modernization of the port as soon as possible and further added that port staffers will be given further training. The two sides reached common understanding on the issues discussed as far as DPW is concerned.
ministers of foreign affairs, Dr. Sa’ad Ali Shire, finance, Ms. Zamzam Abdi Adan, presidency, Mr. Mohamoud Hashi Abdi, planning, Mr. Mohamed Adan , port manager and SL representative to the UAE were in attendance of the meeting with DPW.Chairman and CEO of DP World, Sultan Ahmed and DP World Manager, Suhayl Ibn Al-Bani attended the meeting.
